A good and wise first aider should possess these qualities because the person providing the aid is acting out of mercy for the injured/patient.

  1. He should be prompt and hurry. He also has to arrive promptly at the scene of the incident and provide aid to the patient without wasting time.
  2.  That is satisfied and the owner of the discipline. He/she keeps a peaceful temperament and knows how to control and manage himself. Because if he/she becomes afraid or upset by himself, then how will he/she save the life of the patient?
  3.  He/she should be intelligent and wise so that, looking ahead at the situation of worry, he can give a quick and necessary suggestion of treatment before all appraisals.
  4.  Has good complacency, cheerful and kind-hearted. He/she can provide solace to the patient and should use a soft voice and encouraging type words to keep away the sorrows and discomfort of the patient. The patient should be provided rest as much as possible. Sympathizing patient reduce their worry and make them satisfied.
  5. He/she should be preplanned so that he/she can purvey relief on the spot to the patient with instruments that are available at the incident or can arrange the things necessary to rescue the patient.
  6.  Be expert and discreet. He should understand the patient’s guess history just by looking at his symptoms. He should also be an expert to gain the patient’s trust. If there is a larger crowd around the patient, then move it very cleverly.
  7.  Should be Skilful, handicraft, and alert. They use the apparatus with the method very cleverly so that the patient is not inconvenienced.
  8.  Be confident and consistent. He should be fully trusted in himself and the success of their struggles. In the beginning, if he fails in his struggles, he should continue his efforts with perseverance.
  9.  You should be punctual, discreet, and dutiful. The sensation of the importance of time is required.
  10.  Compassionate and has a passion for service.
